Position Summary
BRAC Institute of Educational Development (BRAC IED), BRAC University is seeking
qualified and motivated professionals for the position of MHPSS Officer / Senior MHPSS
Officer – Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) to support clinical service
delivery, psychosocial programming, humanitarian mental health initiatives, training, and
capacity development activities across Bangladesh.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced individual and group counselling services both physically and online.
- Design and facilitate trainings and workshops.
- Evaluate learning outcomes and ensure the quality of learning delivery.
- Supervise psychosocial service providers, tele-counsellors, and field-based psychosocial staff.
- Develop modules, curricula, and manuals related to mental health and wellbeing.
- Provide tele-counselling services through the Moner Jotno platform.
- Collaborate on research initiatives and evidence-generation activities while maintaining programme documentation and quality standards.
Eligibility
- Master’s degree in any discipline of Psychology from a reputed university.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Bangla and English.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.
