Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for adolescents and youths in the Youth and Adolescent Unicef Project
  • Facilitate life skills training and conduct workshops focusing on socio-emotional development and creative activities such as arts and crafts
  • Identify the psychosocial issues of the adolescents and provide one-to-one psychosocial support sessions under the supervision of the Psychologists
  • Participate in regular training sessions, workshops, and refreshers
  • Facilitate the co-creation workshops with the adolescents and community people
  • Maintain attendance and activity records for adolescents and youths
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports on program outcomes and challenges
  • Contribute to monitoring and evaluation processes, providing feedback for program improvement
  • Act as a mentor and positive role model for adolescents and youths, fostering trust and communication
  • Engage with parents and community members to ensure alignment with the program’s goals
  • Encourage youth and adolescents to engage in activities that build awareness about sustainable practices

Job Location: Cox’s Bazar

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum educational qualifications required to complete HSC
  • Ability to work with people of various backgrounds, cultures
  • Willingness to work at the Cox’s Bazar camps and Host community adolescents and youths
  • Must be fluent in the Chittagong local dialect
