The Certificate in Teaching is a blended learning course designed for practicing and aspiring teachers at the pre-primary and primary levels to strengthen their classroom teaching skills through both theoretical understanding and practical application. Delivered by faculty members, pedagogical experts, and specialists from BRAC IED, BRAC University, with extensive field experience. The course offers practical and contextually relevant guidance on key areas such as child development, inclusive education, lesson planning, literacy and numeracy, STEM, socio-emotional learning, classroom management, child protection, and professional skills.
Spanning 84 hours over 21 days, the course includes 15 online classes and 6 in-person simulation sessions. Participants will gain hands-on experience through micro-teaching, simulations, continuous feedback, and reflective practice to effectively support young learners in diverse classroom settings.
