Emotional well-being is an important component for our overall well-being. Like other aspects of well-being, emotional well-being can be managed, nurtured and enhanced. This short course is designed to provide participants the basic knowledge and understanding of emotional well-being and emotional regulation through self-care and mindfulness. Participants will develop the understanding of the concepts of emotional intelligence and emotional literacy by participating in this course. They will also be able to enhance the ability to be mindful of their own emotions as well as emotions of others. Participants will be involved in the experiential hands-on practices to internalize emotional regulation and develop an insight on how to apply in their real-life contexts. During the course, participants will experience and reflect on different timelines of their life through mindfulness and self-care activities for enhancing their emotional well-being.
