BRAC IED representative led a course for the second time on “Global Education Policy Implementation – Strategies for Access and Equity in Low-Resource Contexts.” The course took place in Budapest, Hungary, as part of the Central European University Summer University Course from June 26 to 30, 2023.
Dr. Manjuma Akhtar Mousumi, Assistant Professor and Head of Academics at BRAC IED, led a session titled “Learning from Implementation – BRAC Approach to Sustainable Positive Outcomes”. Participants in the course hailed from diverse regions, including Colombia, Georgia, Palestine, Serbia, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kenya, The Netherlands, Egypt, Kyrgyzstan, Hungary, South Africa, Bosnia, and other countries.
The international representation in the course not only enriched the discussions but also highlighted the global relevance of the strategies discussed, emphasizing the critical need to address access and equity in education within low-resource contexts.
